Sharing some home updates quickly as I’m slowly prepping my studio to showcase a more gold tone vibe. I love changing the scenery of my walls so I have something new to look at, and nothing satisfies that need like a piece of wall art. However my walls are concrete so drilling a hook in would be nothing short of a nightmare. Thankfully strong command hooks allow me to be flexible with hanging pieces as well as maintain flexibility with where I want to place them. Clearly I like having the ability to move things around without compromising due to wall damage.

ANYWAY these four gold foil canvases from Echo New York actually come in sets of two, but look terrific all together framing the space above my desk. Since they appear so striking on their own, I wanted to carry on the minimalism so the entire image of my desk/office space was clean and calm. As a result, I ended up moving a few things off the surface of my desk and probably going to be hitting up that storage ladder in the near future to de-clutter.

The second piece I’ve added to the same wall in the space above my chair is rather unique, from the gallery of Public House of Art. At first glance I saw a gold splatter print with marble undertones but a friend told me he saw the image of a person on her side. When I tilted my head, I saw the same thing! But personally, I like the angle I’ve hung it as and would rather view the piece as something gold & marble.
