Local Layers

So I have this really awesome dress I got at the Zara in London but I don’t have the right bra/bandeau situation to wear with it. Therefore, it’s been hanging on my Target clothing rack since June, mocking me in it’s olive perfection. I spent an entire summer wanting to wear it but being too lazy to invest in the proper necessities to go underneath. Damn.

But then when I think about it, olive looks better in the fall right? Just go with it – it does. And with cooler mornings, noons and nights adding a layer or two only seems fitting. Personally, I love anything that represents me, myself or my hometown and when I can wear it in tangible form it’s only a bonus – I’m referring to my tee.

I’ve been cheating on my go-to Starbucks for a more local brew – Rook Coffee – which is based in NJ and has coffee and bagels that are day-changing – sorry outsiders, but you can order from them online! My usual order: a ” bigger” Costa Rica with milk and a plain bagel flat with butter. OM NOM NOM. Also, if you’re a fan of the place yourself and crave a strong wake-me-up kick of caffeine – go for the mild brew. Funny enough, it happens to be the strongest (don’t worry, I asked them.)
