Another denim shorts look I know, but when I received this pair in the mail I had the perfect outfit in mind. Thus, leading to this post. For about two years, I’ve re-pinned and saved images of distressed boyfriend shorts and outfits that make the relaxed fit look effortlessly chic. Of course, the best combo around, in my opinion, involved a basic white top and heels – can’t get any more simple.

Can you believe it’s about to be August!? No better time to make use of nautical-themed apparel & accessories – drawing attention to my starfish/shell canvas clutch from my sister as a birthday present this past June. I love the neutrality of it and how versatile it can be for multiple outfit options. And I know kitten heels aren’t for everyone but if you’re like me, you can maybe withstand a two-three hour window in anything with height. I’m quite proud to say I wore these to an event in New York a few weeks back and survived! Best part? They were scored at Marshalls – cha-ching! Shop similar below:
