Embroidered Easter Ensemble

With Easter only 6 days away, I’m doing some massive brainstorming of what I could potentially wear this year, very last minute of course… But I’m sure I’m not the only one!

In my household, Easter consists of morning mass followed by a brunch gathering at my step Grandma’s house that overlooks the water. I always look forward to this holiday because it’s one that gathers all my aunts, uncles, and cousins under one roof before Thanksgiving. Not to mention it’s a lot warmer out than in November, and enjoying drinks out on the patio with a view is something we’re all craving these days.

In terms of ensemble, we actually tend to be more on the casual side in attire for brunch (i.e. cute top & jeans) which is very relaxing and diminishes the stress of getting ready. But I’m someone who likes to dress up once and a while, especially for an occasion like this which totally inspires me to get all “floral” with it.

This embroidered beauty is simply striking. It has an attached nude slip underneath and when belted at the waist, forms a flirty tulle skirt that graces right below the knee at midi-dress length. Although this dress might be too much for our casual brunch it will definitely come in handy for Spring birthdays and get togethers I have planned in the upcoming weeks.

Oh and if you’re wondering if the material is itchy on my arms for the sleeves, it surprisingly isn’t! The fabric is loose enough that it doesn’t scratch against the skin but comes elastically together at the wrist to maintain elegant structure.
