Eva Chen once said, “It’s cool to be nice,” and I’ve found myself using the phrase as a personal motto for the past two years. I’ve always prided myself in being kind – sometimes overly and to the undeserving, yet I always left the situation feeling better about myself as a person. So when I recognized the same positive energy at last month’s Paige x Lyst event, needless to say I was thrilled to find two brands I can appreciate even more now. The mission of kindness is so powerful and memorable, and if everyone tried to apply the same focus towards their lives this world might become a more wholesome place. Okay end speech – let’s talk about these incredible overalls!

If you didn’t know this already, I LOVE overalls and have been sporting them since age 1. When paired with a more delicate structure of a flat, they can appear one step above casual. Finding a skinnier style that just grazes the ankle helps give the appearance of an elongated body. I may be average height of 5’5″ but wearing the right style of this denim can be the difference of appearing straight up and down or short and squat. So my petite readers listen up!
