As comfortable as oversized pieces can be, it’s important to work the “frump” to your advantage. No one wants to appear sloppy and unfortunately, ill-fitting and less than form-fitting descriptions come with these purposely larger-made garments. Ugh, sometimes it can be such a struggle to find comfort without paying the price (literally and figuratively.)
In this case, pairing up with tighter/skinny jeans below the waist and adding emphasis on my height with a heel help combat the large sweatshirt top I refuse to take off – it’s just so damn comfortable. When it’s this cold out, snuggling in this baby is the only thing that makes going outside worthwhile. However what’s great with oversized pieces is the ability to layer multiple thin pieces underneath without appearing any larger up top. With the addition of a long styled scarf, this look appears more layered on the surface and hides any sign of multiple tees, worn underneath, from peeking out around the collar. Shop similar below:

You can really pull off the oversized sweatshirt look! It looks put together without looking sloppy thanks to the skinny jeans and boots.
