Happy Friday! It’s finally December and I’ve already watched 5 Christmas movies this week…too soon? Nah, never. It’s the most wonderful time of the year and when the weather feels this mild out, there’s no reason not to get into the holiday spirit!

I have a couple parties & events coming up the next few weeks leading up to Santa day. This means I’ve had to strategize some outfit ideas that I can take right from work to where I’m attending. This red velvet dress might just be the epitome of tasteful holiday season apparel, not to mention is very in-synch with the obsession of the material happening in fall/winter 2016.

Paired with a badass leather jacket (note the studded star sleeve detail) and some over-the-knee socks boots (with a baby heel, weee!), as well as a winter floral friendly bag, this velvet number is work-chic meets holiday party appropriate. The best part? Not having to worry about changing and dragging an extra bag along with you.
