This is what I call my Father’s Day dinner & drinks at the beach ensemble.

As white continues to top the charts, in terms of Spring/Summer trends, I wanted to incorporate them with a great pair of white skinnies. With a neutral color balance scheme, a pop of color is always sure to work with what you’re wearing, so long as it is done individually. This neon top is very ‘loud,’ therefore any other color coordination would throw off the outfit or seem too overbearing. Be bold in your choice and stand by it alone.

For makeup, I keep it as natural as possible. I never want to look like a different person sans makeup, but a little bit of it in the right places surely amps up those natural features. Here’s what I used:

– Neutrogena cooling facial lotion (used as primer for foundation)

– Bare Minerals ‘Warm Tan’ powder foundation

– Maybelline ‘Rocket Volum’ Express’ mascara

– L’Oreal ‘Illuminateur’ double pencil liner (black & cream) : apply cream pencil at inner eye points

– Revlon ‘Color Whisper’ soft neutral pink lip
