Similar to yesterday’s post, here’s another versatile way to pack your weekend looks lightly. Consider a dress that doubles as a beach coverup. From where I grew up in NJ, most of us go right to the bar after a day on the beach. It’s a super casual atmosphere and unlike NYC, you don’t get dressed up to go out (unless you live for those judgmental stares..lol sorry but true!)

I’m definitely more boho with my style whenever I go home, so this maxi dress was the perfect addition to my beach-to-bar wardrobe I’m currently building. It can also be worn as a true coverup by unbuttoning the front and styling it as a long cardigan over your swimsuit. And if you’re like me & don’t always have the best luck getting that natural beach wave look post-ocean, you can always throw an adorable straw hat on to hide away the frizz. This ‘Saltaire’ style one I’m wearing happens to match this whole look so perfectly, but its natural appearance makes it easy to incorporate into any other beachy look I plan to wear this summer #versatility.

Ps, these summer dresses would also make great beach coverups!
