Happy [FREEZING] Monday! Seriously turned winter over night, starting yesterday when taking these shots early morning in Asbury Park. My best friend just moved into her new apartment over the weekend so I spent all Saturday helping her move in and celebrating later that night!

One of the more iconic bars in Asbury is The Stone Pony – hence the name on the back of my somewhat vintage sweatshirt. Another famous one is The Wonder Bar, featured right behind me in this post and only a few blocks up the rode from SP.

I didn’t mean to color coordinate my denim or sweatshirt choice with the bar scenes but I’m impressed that I subconsciously did. Although this look didn’t keep me as warm as I would’ve liked, it felt right to mix laid back casual pieces with a dressier heel. Yes you can be cozy and chic at the same time but only if you want to be. No pressure.
