Another month yet it still feels like winter. Even though the days of February’s harshness are behind us we still have to dress in layers, wear ugly snow boots and keep our head under a hat, all while keeping our spring/summer items hanging in the closet for a while longer. Or so we think..

First off: Embrace the beanie as long as you can because by the time winter clears up, you know you’ll miss it – especially when you can rep your Instagram handle on every block. How awesome is that!? Second: That shirt dress you’re stoked to wear in the spring doesn’t have to wait that long for attention – unbutton and wear the piece as a layering trench for the time being. You’ll make better use [and more options] for those spring/summer beauties to be utilized in the winter.

Third: Ditch the snow boots on a sunny day and opt for a slip-on sneaker with a waterproof surface – also not a bad idea to spray with a protective coating beforehand, just in case.
