NYFW ∙ TOME Fall’15 Review

tome 1 drop

This Fashion Week was by far the COLDEST I’ve ever endured but when it came to Tome’s show, the Fall’15 collection couldn’t be hotter. This menswear-inspired line, naturally my favorite concept, have me coveting these 10 looks like crazy and watching them walk the runway in Lincoln Center’s Pavilion sealed the deal of obsession.

If I had to pick my Top (3),  Look 17Striped Trench, Look 23Oversized Leopard Coat and Look 28Rust Oversized Coat are my favorites but in all honesty, I can’t limit the line to a small selection when it’s so on-point. Hands down my favorite collection to-date and here’s the best part: You can pre-order the collection on Moda Operandi until Feb 28!

Note the colorful shoes, people. These hot pumps were worn on the runway in collaboration with Sarah Jessica Parker’s SJP Collection for Tome’s show. The addition of each hue made the collection’s color palette of neutrals (for the most part) stand out even more in an effortless manner. Not once did it appear overwhelming. Definitely a styling tip I’ll be keeping in mind.

Below is my very rough Instagram edit of the finale but you can stream the full show on Tome’s site to view the pieces in [past] real-time. Seeing the movement of the garment is definitely a selling factor, considering how deceiving still pictures can be. In this collection’s case, the pictures are only a small glimpse of the beauty of this line. Enjoy!
