Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving week/end and ate your body weight in turkey & side dishes like I proudly did! I spent last Wednesday – Friday night in North Carolina visiting my grandparents for the holiday and can’t remember the last time I felt so relaxed and full. Now onto the Christmas festivities & preparation!

The weather in NC was unbelievable so I took complete advantage of wearing less layers than I’m used to. Keeping in fall form, a pair of scarlet boots – with some great customization I might add – can make any summer dress seasonally appropriate; as well as the addition of a simple vest.

Circling back to my custom boots – now I can confidently leave these babies unattended at home. Why? Because when my shoe-size sharing sister and mother (we’re all size 8) attempt to “borrow” them, they’ll easily be caught red handed..or should I say footed? Still might not stop them though, these boots are made for walking and are ultra comfortable!
