Happy Friday! I’m so excited to feature this amazing campaign I participated last month in Boston – One Boot Styled Three Ways. As many of us head back to school or back-to-reality if we’ve graduated – September is considered the new New Year, right? – finding the right functional boot for the upcoming colder season is essential, as is finding one that can serve a stylish purpose. Unfortunately up until now, that was a hard toss up. I remember having to choose between a boot that kept my feet warm versus one that looked stylish, while both of them equaling an expensive cost for a lack thereof. No one likes to compromise two essential needs when it comes to shopping for a purpose, am I right?
Lucky for you guys, us three bloggers – The Style Tab, The Relevance Report, and myself – have teamed up with SOREL to showcase the latest collection of footwear that will not only keep your feet warm this fall but also remain as stylish from day-to-night, and every activity in-between. I’ve featured this incredible combat boot – Major Carly – and styled it three ways: 1) Heading to Class/Library, 2) Lunch with Friends, and 3) Extracurricular Early Evening Activity.
1) HEADING TO CLASS/LIBRARY
Details: Urban Outfitters sweater ∙ (g) Flying Monkey jeans ∙ Rebecca Minkoff backpack ∙ (g) SOREL boots
What I love most about the SOREL brand is the rich heritage and craftsmanship that comes with the functionality needed in this modern world of fashion. Layered with knit socks over skinny jeans, this pair looks as comfortable as they are worn. They make a bold statement while keeping one foot planted in the SOREL personality of duality – style & function.
2) LUNCH WITH FRIENDS
Details: Free People tunic dress ∙ (g) SOREL boots
Paired with a flow tunic dress, this boot attracts confidence while not appearing pretentious. You wouldn’t normally think a free-flowing dress would match up with a bolder style boot. The dress is fun and feminine while the boot sticks to the edgier side of street style in the city. However, the two end up making a perfect match, in a sharp and witty manner, demonstrating the duality of this boot to hold true.
3) EXTRACURRICULAR EARLY EVENING ACTIVITY
Details: (g) Primary NY dress ∙ (g) SOREL boots
Whether it’s a sports game, sorority meeting, fundraiser or just meeting a friend for coffee, you strive to take your look of the moment a step above the rest. That being said, finding a balance of dressed-up meets casual on campus can be made simple with the addition of this SOREL boot to your chosen ensemble.
As you can see, the Major Carly combat boot looks great in all aspects of a day on campus. Be sure to check out SOREL’s line of stylish & functional boots that are sure to have you looking and feeling great all season long!
PS. Check out the video below & hear what we three have to say about our SOREL styles 😀 Oh and don’t mind my squinty eyes – it was beyond bright out and my eyes are probably the most sensitive things ever – hence why I wear sunnies ALL THE TIME.
Special thanks to our Boston Team & the wonderful venues that hosted us!

What a fun post! Love the boots in both outfits. Great cozy fall look in the first set of pictures, and I love how the rustic boots tone down a feminine dress.
I love these boots!!
