Summertime & the living’s easy – standard quote for a dreamed-of endless summer full of tan lines, beach waves, & bright colors.

Although spring has already sprung, the flowers are still out to play despite the heat & sun rays. My yard happens to have a brightly colored bush of purple-blue & pink flowers that remind me of mixed berries. Thus, my template for today’s outfit of choice.

To mimic the flowers, I chose to wear my pair of floral print & lightweight jeggings with a neutral, faded blue top to balance out the pattern. Add a fun statement to the look, like this Bone and Arrow Triangle Necklace from Hearts.Com, to give the solid top more of a visual interest. Of course, a great pair of shades is a MUST; my suggestion would be a pair of Ray Ban Aviators or any aviator-style frame.

Summer will be gone before we know it, so be sure to stop & smell the roses ;]
