Dressing for this time of year is so tough. One day it’s a frigid day with a wind chill that makes it feel -10 out. The next is a solid 54F degrees that gives you all the inklings of Spring fever. The best reference I can give to describe this time of year is the fact snowdrop flowers are pushing up through the soil next to a pile of snow that refuses to melt..
At this point, many of us are wanting to shut those puffer coats away in the closet for good until December rolls around. I’m right there with ya. As I stare at my surrounding closet of clothing I haven’t gotten to wear in the past year, I’m more determined than ever to get them on my body this Spring. I never thought I’d say this but I’m actually starting to get sick of 24/7 loungewear…yup, I said it.
In partnership with Ann Taylor, I’m so excited to share two looks you can easily wear right now whether it’s chilly or mild outside. Not gonna lie, but slipping on this pair of jeans felt SO GOOD after a long 12-month hiatus. Doesn’t hurt to mention they feel like the comfort of jeggings but are in fact true denim with the perfect amount of stretch. Take a look at some of these fun pieces below & be sure to check out all the new Spring arrivals on the site! So many cute things at quality price points, from WFH tops to flowy dresses to pants of all fits & styles that are definitely worthy of replacing your tired, (must) go-to leggings.
Plaid-Lined Trench | Puff Shoulder Top | High-Rise Jeans | Chain Loafers
I found that everything fits true to size, including the jeans. I’m wearing size small (regular fit) in trench & top, US 4 in jeans and US 8 in loafers. There’s also both tall & petite fit options for all available/in-stock items on the site too.

Striped Shoulder Sweater | High-Rise Jeans | Spotted Sneakers
I went with size medium for the sweater to achieve a slightly more oversized look & longer fit past the waist. Personally, I think you’d want to size up from your original if you’re 5’5″+ tall.
More sweater & sneaker options that caught my eye:
Love the jacket, especially the lining!
These are all great picks! I love the plaid lining of the trench and these chain print loafers, they are classic pieces with a twist!
I hope you are having a great week!
