Blue Trousers: Banana Republic

Duster Coat: Forever 21 (OLD) – similar style here

Corset Belt: Francesca’s – similar style here

White Sneaks: Steve Madden

To break up an outfit that might become a bit monogamous, add a bold belt that’s neutral in color – like I did with this chestnut corset piece. Although in a basic color this belt makes a statement itself with its wider form, making an obvious wall between these two shades of blue.

Consistency is found within the beige duster coat that plays in the same color wheel as the tan belt, just in a lighter hue. This addition makes all 4 pieces work in unison. Of course, white sneakers serve as both a neutral and a comfort in this ensemble – comfort being the real reason I chose to wear them. Sorry not sorry…at all.
