Who knew clashing prints could be such a standout approach? In the department of florals – both these patterns of my jacket and skirt are driven towards a warmer season yet note the color scheme is geared towards the “colder” end of the spectrum (i.e. darker colors). This makes wearing them in a cooler season such as fall a lot easier than one would initially imagine.

Although not a matching set, these two floral pieces can become a clashed set when their colors coordinate one way or another. Balancing the two opinions of print with a neutral underneath and a solid choice in footwear helps to make it work. I mean I’m all about the idea of “garden-inspired” but I don’t necessarily want to be a walking human version of one.
