Maybe some of us are born with the gift of vision and a sense of time, and others benefit from the use of accessories to accomplish the necessary latter (I’m raising my hand here.) My eyesight isn’t that terrific and in my conscious effort to not have my phone in hand 24/7, the right pair of glasses and style of watch can go such a long way when needing to see where I’m at…literally.

Although these lenses remind me of a modern version of my dad’s 90’s frames, I couldn’t be happier with them. Not only do they do the job when it comes to extensive hours looking at a screen but they also make me feel a bit more edgy than my obvious go-to thicker framed tortoise versions accomplish.

In terms of timing, wearing a watch is one of the sexiest things a person can do for his/herself because it means relying on something other than a phone is a possibility. In today’s over-stimulated society, tuning the world out has been a guilty pleasure of my weekends and not having a phone has been fabulous – all I need to know is the time of day and thanks to this black/gold Broadway beauty, I can achieve such a goal.
