Hamilton Watches Pre-Basel Preview

Last week I got the opportunity to preview the newest Hamilton timepieces launching this March at the Baselworld Fair. Although I wasn’t familiar with the brand until now, watches are my favorite pieces to sport on my wrist and needless to say, I’m obsessed with what I got a sneak peek of.

Hamilton is an American brand that is Swiss-made – the tagline American Spirit | Swiss Precision identifies Hamilton as a brand with a rich U.S. heritage while at the same time a quality timepiece made in Switzerland. What I think was so neat about the preview is the brand’s alignment with its history in aviation & cinema, which was clearly demonstrated in the style and functionality of the timepieces as well as their displays.

Looking forward to the 2016 new year, the Hamilton brand’s focus will be the launch of its new Broadway Collection (see below) as well as the relaunch of their trademark style – Khaki Navy Frogman Watch – named after the watch’s appearance in the 1951 movie, “The Frogmen.” Additionally, a full 18carat rose gold timepiece will be one of the highlights from Hamilton’s Jazzmaster Collection.

These watches are beautifully designed and sure to be superb additions to anyone’s wristwear. The best part about them is how gender-neutral the styles are, so really anyone can sport the watch of his or her choice based on the band and watch face options available per collection. Stay on the lookout for these great styles and many more to be released this month and into June!
