Rompers have been my summer game and I’m super excited about the ones I’ve added to my collection this season. Experimenting in the realm of new patterns in unfamiliar colors has been the trend of my outfit endeavors. But certainly working with the two new incorporations while using familiar habits – such as basic neutral color – to my advantage has made the experience much easier to get used to.

Asos romper | Pour La Victoire heels

Blush pink mixed with my two safety nets of black and white make this striped romper very exciting to wear, seeing that it’s different than any other piece I currently own. With the right blend of edginess in caged pumps, this piece is far from short & sweet and leans towards a street style look I feel most comfortable sporting to an event.

Plus if heels do not permit (because they don’t always at all) a simple pair of white sneaks can still maintain this look as appearing very street chic. The trick is pulling colors from the print that work for your choice of accessory, jewelry and/or footwear.
