By far this Fashion Week has been the most painful to endure. If you could only imagine 10 degrees plus windchill attacking you every day for a week, you’d never complain of overheating for quite some time. In fact, you’d indulge on wearing sweatshirts all day indoors for the rest of the winter like I currently am.
Needless to say this look was not prime for the weather but I honestly underestimated the harshness of the temps-to-be. Oops. Regardless, I couldn’t have been happier with this look on Day 2 and the reassuring photographers on the scene at Lincoln Center helped to confirm my confidence in it – Minus the bag, everything I wore was under $100.
Most photographed – the booties. I’m obsessed with them! The plum culottes are another favorite I can’t wait to wear sans tights but could you imagine if I sported my bare stems!? The cape coat I’m most proud of – I thrifted that piece from a consignment store the day before this.
I can’t afford to wear designer head-to-toe and my blog doesn’t represent that kind of style at this time. I wanted to wear something purely reflective of where I am in life and although the bag is designer, it represents my college graduation with honors and the transitioning journey into young adulthood.
