Any excuse to dress down while still appearing put together gets priority of interest in my outfit notebook. Due to today being the last day of September – can you believe it already!? – I figured this calls for wearing shorts, a tank and open-toe sandals one last time. However the addition of a very cozy oversized knit cardigan helps keep this ensemble in the fall/autumn department for the time being.

When I saw this adorable Bohemian tank from my gal Aroon’s new shop, I knew it would go perfectly with the pair of suede green shorts shown above because it would assist a casual piece to appear more structured. Which was exactly the goal I was striving for – casual with a touch of form-fitting length that works for more than a day of errands – hence the heels. A girl about town such as myself needs pieces that work both ways, stay in the versatile department and helps for easy transitions from day to evening events. Now if you didn’t notice the striking phone case I’m sporting these days, then do yourself a favor and back track a couple mouse strokes/swipes. This gorgeous LuxBox for iPhone 6/6S caught my eye initially with the woodgrain detail. It wasn’t until I started using it that I realized the strength and durability of it – very similar to the Otterbox but 10x more stylish! Unfortunately I’m someone who drops her phone from time to time – clumsy indeed – and it’s so relieving to know my phone is super safe in this LuxBox.
