There’s something to be said about the boot that makes wearing pants an “optional” phenomenon – especially in the midst of the fall/winter season. Reaching mid-thigh means most of your leg is accounted for, and tights can take care of the rest or a specific length piece above. Considering this past week was a record gorgeous 60 F degrees, I opted for the simple plaid shirt dress without sheer tights but seeing that today feels like winter, I’d probably add some sheer to my higher leg if I wore this today.
