Anyone else going through an outfit slump this winter season? ‘Cough’ no posts since last Thursday ‘cough.’ I think it’s safe to admit we all go through moments where both the weather and our current lives feel somewhat uninspiring. Yes, I’ll be the first to admit that right here, right now.

So this is where I take my wardrobe a step into a new normal of direction. Although sequins have made an appearance in my attire before, they’ve never been in a shade of blush or pink. However I feel really good about this outfit choice – not only because it’s hitting on the fact I’m trying something new but also because it’s my personal way of trying to change something that isn’t satisfying me – which currently is my entire wardrobe (yes, admitting that too.)

Who knew sequins and velvet would actually make out to be an acceptable outfit!? I didn’t but the discovery itself is re-inspiring me. Plus, I really wanted an excuse to wear these new booties which might be the best of all 50 shades of gray…
