So ‘mom jeans’ are a thing now, right? Quite honestly, I don’t know how the high-waisted yet lowrider, boyfriend with a crop jean style got that name but I don’t mind the idea. High-waisted shorts were the thing last year, and I’m digging the concept into jeans for this spring.

I’ve always envisioned making this look work with a muscle tee or crop top, just to keep it looking constructed. Ankle cuts are another yes for me — I find myself cuffing my straight leg/skinnies all the time so this style makes it much easier.
