Last Friday, Koolaburra by UGG invited myself and a group of fab bloggers to go apple picking at Pennings Orchard & Cidery in Warwick, NY. We were treated to a beautiful day outdoors, one that felt like summer! The orchard triggered childhood memories for me, and I’m sure many other bloggers on this trip.

I’m so happy I was able to experience my first fall activity of the season in such a beautiful place outside of the concrete jungle. I swear the mountain air did me SO MUCH good for these delightful hours. Here’s a glimpse of what we did in a few photos.

I swear this apple is HUGE – legit the “Big Apple”…I found it all the way out in Warwick! In all honestly, I’ve never seen an apple this large in my life. Part of me doesn’t want to eat it because it’s so massively impressive in size.
….
My sister Piper came along for the trip, as she had the day off of work. We both didn’t anticipate getting too many apples, as we hardly eat them and didn’t want to carry them all back.

Right after this pic was taken, we found the rows of Fuji and Gala trees with the hidden treasure apples (aka THE BEST APPLES); needless to say our bags ended up extremely heavy but oh so colorful nonetheless.
After apple picking, we ventured over to the Cidery where we were treated to the most delicious lunch of bite-size appetizers in BULK – meaning they kept getting replenished and I ended up having 4 servings…not sorry.

Cider Samples (Right to left): Bone Dry, Ginger Beet, and Cyser
….
The best part was tasting three of their signature spiked ciders on tap.
We fell in love with two different ones and ended up getting Growlers To-Go!
(Left Image)
Food consisted of Sesame Chicken, Grilled Cheese & Butternut Squash Soup, Tuna Tartare, Stuffed Veggie Mushrooms, Bacon Goat Cheese Apple Slice, and Bruschetta.

Growlers of Bone Dry Cider (mine) and Ginger Beet Cider (Piper’s)
We can’t wait to not only finish them but then reuse the bottles – how cute are they!?
Thank you Koolaburra & Style House Co. for such an amazing day trip! It was such a great and beautiful summer-feeling fall day spent with wonderful new friends and an amazing brand.

Who are some of these other bloggers? Would love to see their blogs too!
Unfortunately I didn’t get everyone’s names :[ But I’m sure if you Google “Koolaburra Orchard/Apple Picking” something might pop up that one of the other blogger’s posted about (granted if they linked their posts up correctly to SEO so it can be searched!)
