Backpacks have resurfaced as the functional yet stylish choice of baggage to appropriately carry in public. I have to say I’ve always been a fan of the “true” shoulder bag but even more so when they look something like this – and it looks like even Taylor Swift agrees! As a blogger I find myself carrying more than necessary with me at all times – including a laptop and several notebooks – and couldn’t be happier with the use I’ve gotten out of this wonderpack. While on the topic of retro fads, let’s discuss the return of patchwork detail on today’s denim. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bigger fan now than I previously was when I first caught a glimpse of them. There’s no doubt in my mind they’ll be taking over this Fall, in styles loud and subtle. Personally, I’m digging this particular pair with the double black knee patch. Patchwork yes but not an “in-your-face” embellishment that can make this trend borderline intimidating. Let’s be honest, some of the patchwork denim options out there are very proud to be what they are, but loud isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Thankfully this denim pair offers an indoor voice option when seeking a calmer alternative.

These are great jeans. I often get bored of regular blue or black jeans but these add that extra touch!

I first really started seeing more of the patch work denim trend last fall/winter and I thought it was kinda funny after all the distressed denim during the summer I thought yes it’s too cold for the holes in the denim now so we are patching the holes for winter. I actually have liked the patchwork denim for sometime but I prefer the blue patched denim. I like yours but I like the blue better. Thanks for this opportunity.
I like the patchwork that isn’t so “in your face” like these are. I like the look because there are a lot of styling options, and it gives denim a little something extra.
