One of my go-to summer date night uniforms is the combination of a fitted top with a pair of shorts. Personally, I hate anything that feels super tight because I feel like I have to “suck it in” the entire evening, as well as be mindful of it untucking with every body bend or movement. But obviously, something that forms to the body is more attractive than a flowy top to conceal the bloat.

UGH. You’d think to have to choose between looking attractive or feeling comfortable…

…but you don’t have to!

Here’s how to work around it, without sacrificing comfort in order to achieve:

1) Fitted Top = Bodysuit

2) Shorts = High-Waisted

Wearing a bodysuit guarantees your top wont come untucked at any moment during your date, allowing you stay in the moment rather than stressing out about whether or not your baring mid-drift during dinner. What I love about the Commando Ballet Bodysuits is that they fit to my body like a pair of tights, made of super comfortable fabric that breathes without fear of ripping or tearing. It’s like they’re made to make your date night easier, with an elevated level of attraction while at it!

High-waisted shorts position themselves to conceal any bloat you may show, especially if you opt for a busy print with a slight flow/ruffle like this pair I’m wearing. I like matching opposites in outfit combos – if you go tight above or below the waist, then go relaxed/loose with the other end.
