The casual staple ensemble – ripped jeans and a white tee – can be taken a step in the dressier direction with the right style structure & accessories to match. This kind of outfit is my favorite to incorporate into my everyday wardrobe, so making it acceptable for business meetings or anything other than errands is a matter of comfort priority.
By opting for a more structured button-down top & fastening the material with a wide corset belt, an oversized piece can instantly be made to give you the appearance of a hourglass figure. You can keep your jeans as distressed as you wish, because let’s be honest they’re more visually interesting than one’s without. Just add a printed bootie for height and statement, as well as a structured bag to match the aesthetic of your top.
Because it was SO COLD the morning of this shoot, I layered this 1/4 sleeve top with a white long sleeve sweater underneath. That’s the beauty of oversized pieces; you somewhat have room to grow (in layers below.)
