My office space is sacred to my personal well-being, in terms of sanity and job productivity. Therefore it was essential for me to perfect it from desk style to wall art. I mean a place that inspires you while motivating you to work is ideal, am I right? At least as a blogger, I can’t stress this enough.
The problem with studio apartments, or any tiny space, is always going to be storage. Finding solutions to store while staying stylish usually end in compromising functionality over appearance, unfortunately. Knowing I needed to make the best use of my wall space (the only dry wall spot in my entire concrete-wall apartment!)
I figured a nice set of three shelves would benefit me most – with storage functionality as well as the style of my office space. Thanks to friends at Minted, I found the perfect additions to my wall space that matched the aesthetic of my interior decor as well as maintain a sturdiness to display and store some of my heavier pieces.
Set of (3) Shelves: The Artful Shelf (2′) – Whitewashed French Farmhouse finish
Wall Art Details (L-R): Black Cactus by Baumbirdy (11″ x 14″), Slow Zebra by Nikkol Christiansen (8″ x 10″) , Time Tells by Leslie Le Coq (10″ x 8″)
[All frames: Distressed Charcoal Stain]
The Artful Shelf is available in (4) sizes – 2′, 3′, 4′, and 5′ – (3) wood finishes, as well as a copper-finished metal. Hanging these shelves was super easy, as they each came with a level (to ensure straightness), built-in brackets and cleats.
To keep my office space consistent with the rest of my apartment’s decor, I completed the space revival with another large statement framed shot over my couch. A personalized touch of New York in greyscale still coordinates with the desert vibes of my desk space.
Wall Art Details: The Brooklyn Bridge by Kelsey McNatt (40″ x 30″)
