Happy Friday!

Can you believe Christmas is already this weekend!? (counting Christmas Eve, obv.)

Today I’m hosting a Holiday Brunch with all of my cousins & I’m so excited to try out this new Christmas cocktail recipe I came across the other day & made for the occasion. It’s called Christmas Cookie and includes all sorts of delicious coffee & chocolate-flavored liquor, mixed together with brown sugar. I’ll be sure to share the recipe (if it turns out good) with you guys. In the meantime, stalk my Insta Stories to get a behind the scenes look at what I planned for today’s gathering!

Anyways…

I got this coat over the Summer (odd, I know..) and honestly didn’t even get a chance to wear it until now. Even during the Fall season it didn’t fit the temps or my mood to utilize it; I saw it more as a Spring coat than anything else. Until I got a kick of Christmas spirit and suddenly I’ve become all about it!

What I REALLY want to get into is the MAJOR, MAJORRRR score I landed during one of my eBay browsing sessions. Can you guess what I’m referring to…?

It was one of those moments where I honestly couldn’t believe I came across it & that it was even real – although I made sure to verify its authenticity with the seller prior to purchasing; she even sent me the original receipt from the store! This particular Gucci Marmont Double-G black & gold belt has been SOLD OUT WORLDWIDE FOREVER in my size 85CM (which is clearly the same as everyone else’s I suppose). I went as far as calling a store in Canada 4x in one week to see if anyone might have returned one! I know, uber pathetic right?

Moral of the story: CHECK EBAY. I’ve been so lucky to score [5] of my all-time favorite and most coveted designer items by simply searching for a slightly-used or like-new discounted version. In the case for this belt, the seller explained her decision to list it, despite it being BRAND NEW, after receiving a Hermes belt as a gift that she prefers to wear instead. I’m forever thankful for her decision (& the person who gifted her that Hermes belt.) Best Christmas present EVER!
