Now I’ve missed the boat going to festival island earlier this season and to be super honest, I’m vicariously living the past with outfits I’d consider for next year. Personally I think this type of “late to the party” planning is something to consider, especially with the sales-on-sales happening left and right post-holiday.
Teaming up with Boohoo USA with a festival-inspired look I want to draw attention to the key pieces making up this entire ensemble and how versatile they are with everyday wear. Each item can represent itself alone which makes them great investments for spring/summer in general and occasionally into the cooler months, when paired with the proper layers.

Boohoo USA split pants, crop top, metallic slides, suede choker
Focusing on one piece at a time, let’s start with a great palazzo pant. This style is particularly breezy, with or without the split feature up the legs, and makes for a great statement look when in printed form. I love wearing these types of pants on the beach or for cooler evening occasions. Next, a crop top in a balanced color is a given staple. I wear them all year round, with layered sweaters and blazers when chilly out or by themselves with a great printed pant high enough to cover my bellybutton. Anyone else not keen on showing theres? High-waisted is the way to go and guaranteed to keep the mid-drift apparent yet not too showy.
Slide sandals are easy to put on and walk out the door in, but playing up the color than sticking to leather is a great way to boost a basic outfit. Metallics such as silver and rose gold are really catching my eye these days. And finally the choker obsession continues. I’m adoring this white suede one because it’s thin enough to layer other metallic chokers with yet wide enough to make a statement on its own, in pure white form. Just be careful when using bronzer/foundation on your neck – made that mistake somewhat already on one side of the necklace.
