With one more month of summer left, I’m finding it rather difficult to come to terms with the ending of the season. More importantly, I’m finding it close to IMPOSSIBLE to shop these days – when everything in-store and online is made for cooler months than I’m currently experiencing. Yes I understand the push of fall attire is of the utmost importance but seriously, what gives with the rush? Finding the right mix of summer meets fall is essential if you’re facing the dilemma of creating an appropriate weather and retail balance. So here’s what I came up with:

White lace is quintessentially summer but with a light beige button-down I scored at a UO sale years ago, it makes for the perfect breezy day ensemble. With the addition of these brick red sandals which I can’t help but adore – and will be bringing into the fall season – while mixing gold and rose gold arm wear, this overall look highlights the best of autumn colors with a summer twist that we need to hold onto..at least for the time being. Shop similar below:
