In my retail Fashion Law class, we’ve discussed the area of knockoffs vs. original designer styles. Although I understand the designer frustration of affordable copycat fashion, my ego and self-esteem would greatly suffer if I could not pretend I’m dripping in high-end fashion. Oh yeah, and the economy would drastically change. As Target would say, expect more, pay less.
