In my opinion, Spring is the perfect time to break out the midi dresses in an effort to adapt to the seasonal changes that might as well be temperature mood swings. You know what I’m talking about – when your teeth chatter in the morning but by noon you’re in a puddle of sweat? Getting dressed for days like these somehow still pose a challenge no matter how many “light layers” I start the day off with & slowly subtract from my body. Luckily, I’ve found that mid-length dresses offer me the most comfort during these challenging times in climate.
Although more on the modest side, in terms of style, midi dresses offer the best of multiple occasions for wear. Not only do they provide breezy movement when the temps suddenly skyrocket, but they’re also make for the perfect (& easy) outfit to wear from day to night/casual to spring-time formal. You truly can’t go wrong with a midi dress on spring days where it’s borderline impossible to prepare for the temperatures to be expected (or unexpected.)
I’ve rounded up several neutral/earth tone-printed midi dresses that are equally flattering as they are excellent options for this tricky weather. You can layer them with a sweater now, then pair with a jean jacket later in the summer – or just wear as is!
Love this dress on you! The ruffles and tiered style looks so feminine and lovely! A great added touch with the leopard sneakers, so fun!
