My well-spoken roomie wrote this informative blog post for our student magazine, Garnet and Black, about how we as shoppers, bloggers, consumers and fashion-savvy users alike should represent our American-made products. Fourth of July, for example, is a holiday devoted to pride for our country. When we wear the American flag, we represent our freedom. This goes along well with the concept of freedom of expression, freedom of dress. True, everyone’s fashion sense is unique to their personal style (hence this very blog) but I will agree that representing America more than once a year should be visible by our daily product consumption.
Please check out this blog post, Endorsing America, and maybe you’ll recognize a familiar To Be Bright photograph ;] If you want to follow Garnet and Black on Twitter and Like the Facebook page, that would be considered a wonderful representative favor.
