In the debate of cutoffs vs. culottes,  I dabble in both departments but find culottes to be the cooler older sister. As a 23-year-old who also happens to be the eldest of three I find this form of sleek conservative styling is appropriate for daily street style with an event or meeting in-between errands. However, a crop top is the perfect addition for a high-waisted situation like this because it still shows your adolescent years in clothing choice but in a reformed manner more suitable for anyone 18+.
