I have a confession to make guys…I’m not “in fine feather” as this title describes – the past two weeks I’ve been super sick and yesterday I found out I have walking pneumonia. How terrific right? So contrary to this blog post’s name, I’m not feeling my best but hoping this ensemble says otherwise.
Okay enough of the personal details but figured I’d let everyone know the reasoning for my inconsistent posting. Needless to say work has to be done and thankfully blogging is a great way to keep myself busy from the sad reality of not being able to workout or “go out” for a while (insert wailing emoji face). But your health is your wealth, remember that.
This particular tunic caught my attention due to the print and has Katy Perry’s “I Wanna See Your Peacock” on repeat in my head. It’s meant to be an oversized blouse but I really wanted to wear it as a dress – so when purchasing an XL I had to keep in mind the length would still feel shorter than I’d appreciate it to be when worn publicly. Thankfully Grace & Lace has these AWESOME lace extenders designed to lengthen those slightly too short tops and dresses, as well as add a little fun detail to the mix.
It’s amazing how many pieces I have in my closet that benefit from these extenders and I’m currently making sure I own one in every color. The spring outfit options with them are endless and I highly suggest considering to look into trying one for yourself. Warning: You’ll get hooked. Shop similar below:

I’m sorry to hear about your illness and I hope you get better. What a cute tunic and it doesn’t even look like you bought a bigger size to wear it longer. The extender really helps and is something super practical! Would love if you can link up to http://the-wardrobe-stylist.com/2016/04/11/buy-drape-bollywood-sarees/
Really cute dress! Love the dress extender you wore with it! =)
