Back in July, I received an email from Lucky Magazine about applying for their annual blogger conference in NYC. I thought to myself (at the time), “my blog is only seven months old and there’s no way it would qualify for something like this.”  I am honored to be a Lucky Mag contributor and I see amazing blogs on the community page every day that I strive for mine to be like. But come on, how could my young blog be accepted out of a pool of veterans?

Until I purchased my tickets the other day, I was in a state of shock it had been accepted. To Be Bright made the cut and was offered an invitation. So come October 23, I will be en route to NYC for this amazing opportunity to network, gather inspiration and of course, take many photos. I couldn’t have achieved anything like this without the support and love from my readers. I want to extend my sincere and appreciative gratitude to everyone who has checked-in on my blog from time to time and have encouraged me to make it what it is today. It’s been 10 months now, and I never expected TBB to do so well in such a short amount of time. I am forever thankful and forever blessed. Thank you everyone!
