Although this isn’t a true 2-piece set, I love the concept of making a uniformed look out of two coordinating pieces. Taking note of the color blue in both the pinstripe detail of these pants along with this crop top is what helps this outfit to work. Just for (heeled) kicks, I continued the blue on blue on blue continuation with a bolder version for my choice of footwear.
Matching 2-piece sets are just as versatile as creating your own with separate pieces. You can imagine wearing both together or separately with different items in your closet, creating multiple and unique looks while essentially “recycling your wardrobe.”

I do not wear 2 piece sets so I do not have a preference. However, the mismatched sets have to match in terms of color, style, etc… I love the outfit you select in the photos!

I like matching sets sometimes – it really depends on the set. The best ones in my mind are the ones like in your pictures…not too matchy-matchy but go together. (I hope that makes sense!)

Personally, I like matching sets! I think its clean and classy, but I like that you can mismatch a set and it still looks good.
