For this series, I’ve partnered up with Skechers to show off the versatility of their Laramie 2 boot. As the weather cools down, durable footwear becomes a MUST when consideration of keeping your feet warm & dry comes to mind. There’s nothing worse than the misery of cold feet. However, many boots can’t live up to the functionality and aesthetic status us women need – you either get a pair that’s comfortable but ugly AF or drop-dead chic yet do absolutely nothing for you.

Now boots like these are not meant to be worn to a formal event but that doesn’t mean you have to resort to them for cold stricken situations only. As the typical combat boot we all love and adore, the Laramie encompasses that style but keep your feet warmer than the average combat.

This look takes the best aspects of fall – when the weather is just changing and is still warm enough to sport a dress – and make them approachable for an every day outfit. The Laramie takes the style of the combat boot and when paired with the red plaid flannel & scarf, the dress itself takes a whole new perspective.
