Time to break out the plum & wine colored pants! There’s something about this color that represents every hue of the fall season, quite possibly because it works with the standard yellows, oranges and reds we’re all accustomed to. In this case, it’s the perfect addition to a neutral-based ensemble if you’re looking to stand out in a subtle way.

Another combo I can’t get enough of recently is the large chunky knit over skinny pants. Sometimes, I purchase things a size up on purpose to achieve that oversized look. Thanks to my friends at Piperlime, this particular cozy sweater is great as an open cardigan. However if you want to pretend it’s a pullover, the buttons blend in so easily that you’d have to get up close & personal to notice.
