On a scale of 1-10, I’m a 12 over the fact that beanie season – as well as long overall season – is back again for our trendy enjoyment. Especially on those days where you should have showered and your hair calls you out on that, a beanie is the perfect coverup. I mean, I’ve lost count over how many times I’ve needed dry shampoo and therefore have hidden from the reality of my lack of time. Needless to say, I’m very thankful I was able to get away with it for a brief moment and sometimes occasionally still fall back to my secret.

I find for an early Monday morning that comfort is key and if you feel the urge to show a little bit of outfit excitement, then go with the stripes. In this case, I went with the wide vertical cabana stripes that reminds me of something I’d pair with white jeans mid-summer. This is where my appreciation for transitional looks shines; we only have a small window to comfortably pair the two seasons, so we might as well make everything count. Shop similar below:
