Happy Friday Friends! Can you believe we’re already done with the first week of November!? It’ll be 2019 before we know it at this point.
As I was cleaning out my closet, a seasonal activity of mine to organize & narrow down what clothing to keep/donate, I realized how much I lacked in the “evening/dressy” blouse department. Meaning I have a very limited collection of appropriate tops I can wear on dates, out to dinner, or for an evening out with the girls. So I made it my #1 priority to use the proceeds made from clothing donations on a new fall/winter blouse wardrobe.
Along with finding standard long-sleeve blouses that work with every pant/skirt combo I own, I wanted to explore the idea of blouses with prints; because wearing black-on-black or white & black outfits can sometimes get soooo boring. When I came across this muted leopard top, I instantly loved how fun it was while remaining very approachable. Aside from pairing with denim as seen above, I could easily work this top into an outfit with black denim or a leather mini skirt for an edgier vibe.
On a side note, I wear this particular denim on repeat. It’s one of my favorite pairs of everyday jeans for both fit & wash color reasons.
