Back in the day, I secretly wanted to be a skater girl. I thought Rocket Power was the coolest cartoon to ever come to Nickelodeon and in order to succeed – socially – in middle school, I had to learn how to “shred.” Sadly, not all dreams are meant to be but at least I can wear the kicks and ripped denim today to channel my adolescent aspirations.

Can we talk about how great it is that sneakers are a thing now? In the department of footwear, my closet is drowning in all types of slip-ons, lace-ups and high-tops. I just can’t get enough, and this pair I can’t seem to take off! The obsession is too extreme. Shop similar below:
