When I spotted this cut-out top, I knew the only way it would really show off is if I paired it with the chosen colors it already makes a statement with.
Prints/patterns need to stand alone; they’re selfish & stubborn when it comes to wardrobe compatibility. There are only so many things that a pattern can work with, and it usually has a lot to do with the colors that it incorporates. So taking the black, white, & grey in this tribal-aztec top, I would pair the bottoms with a solid of one of those three colors given. That way the shirt stands alone, and the bottoms give the eye a nice solid break from trying to keep up with the pattern occasionally.
