For as long as I can remember, I’ve been sporting every day dresses with a pair of kicks. It’s funny how an outfit I’ve been wearing since Kindergarten has continued the journey with me over the years, landing comfortably into my young adult/professional wardrobe. The reason an outfit like this is relevant today is because it works, just as it did back then.

It allows for a casual approach to feminine attire, a blend of comfort with sophistication. Some of us, myself included, cannot wear a heel all day long so it’s assuring to know we can still look the part without sacrificing wearability, especially after working hours. I’m always packing a pair of sneakers to swap into and wear out & about following a dressier event or occasion. I mean if the shoe fits, then it just makes sense!
