Last month I had the opportunity to celebrate the upcoming Brooklyn store opening of Primark! I invited my friend Ashli of Ashli With An Eye to accompany me for a fun afternoon of photos in full Primark ensembles under the Brooklyn Bridge. We got lucky managing to avoid the impending rainstorm that was forecasted this day but the overcast skies proved to be ideal for lighting, am I right!?
Prior to the event, Ashli and myself got to shop our looks at the MASSIVE Staten Island store. Both of our jaws dropped when we walked in! There was so much to look through but unlike the disorganized chaos you’d expect, everything was tidy and staged in an approachable manner. Soon enough, we realized we spent 2 full hours in the store before checking out! Best part is that I got 4 tees, 3 rompers, 2 pairs of sneakers, 1 dress, 1 pair of shorts, 1 denim jacket, and a handful of home items all for under $180!

For those of you not familiar with this incredible Irish budget fashion retailer, get ready for a shopping experience unlike ANY other. Primark is known for selling basic, well-made merchandise across many categories. From apparel for the whole family, including newborn clothing, children’s clothing, women’s and men’s wear, along with housewares, accessories, footwear, beauty products and confectionary at remarkably low prices! It has been exclusive to the UK, only opening a handful of stores in the US and not offering online purchases for US customers. That means you can only get Primark merchandise from a brick-and-mortar store, and you’d be considered lucky if you live in/near a city where one is located.
I’m SO EXCITED for the Brooklyn location to open in June! This will make my journey to Primark so much easier, as the Staten Island trip was close to an hour with traffic each way. It will be located inside the Kings Plaza Shopping Center (Level 1) and is even LARGER than the typical Primark store, which average about 40,700 square feet, by 30%! Get ready to shop your heart out, babes!
Love the yellow color in the outfit, so perfect for summer!
Thank you Marianna!! xx
It looks like you both had so much fun. I have a local Primark store and my daughter often gets amazing bargains from there. Love your yellow outfit! xx
Ah that’s awesome! I wish I knew what I was missing out on for all these years; guess I’ll just have to shop enough to make up for 26 years haha xx
