Happy 2016! Nevermind the fact that I’m six days behind schedule but starting now, I’m back on my daily/weekly grind. Things in my personal life have been tremendous the past month (December) and since my trip to California, I decided to take a break for 2 1/2 weeks to focus on all the good things happening that I rarely give myself time for. That being said, all this time off strengthened my blog and personal goals I have set for the year, as well as allowing me to gather a better grasp of where I want to be in the next few months. I’m not a believer of resolutions; only setting attainable goals every few months. Less stressful.
A lot of newness to come and I PROMISE to be sharing all that information very soon! In the meantime, I’m kicking off 2016 with the freshest boots in my closet at the moment. Winter white is my favorite concept to incorporate into my wardrobe because it can pose challenges. In my attempt to think outside the box, I matched up these studded beauties with another style situation I grew fond of the last two months – romper revamp! Simply wearing one of my favorite prints from the summer of ’15 and pairing it up with a wool blend coat and tights makes it winter worthy and possibly something more interesting than the sea of leather and black on the streets right now. Plus the subtle hints of white in the romper’s print make a match made in heaven for the white studs on my ankles. Shop similar below:
